Argentina



History
La Selección is nickname for Argentina. Argentina has followed four FIFA World Cup editions in total overall. At the inaugural World Cup in 1930 in Uruguay, they lost 4-2 on the host.
Mario Deflated and Diego Maradona led Argentina to win the World Cup in 1978 and in Mexico in 1986.
